Generation 2 Nano instructions.
Remove tab.
Naming your newborn
To enter your new Nano's name, press > to scan through the alphabet.
Press < to scan backwards through the alphabet.
Press button O to select a letter and move to the next blank space.
When you are done, press button D to enter in your Nano's name.
Next you must enter the time.
Set the timer.
Press button O to enter timer mode.
Press button D and hold until the numbers befin to blink.
Press button < to advance the hour.
Press button > to advance the minutes.
Press button D to enter the time and start the timer.
Press button O to go back to the Play mode.
Now sit back and watch the wonnders of binary birth. It will take a couple of minutes. :0)
Sound on/off
Press button O to enter Timer Mode.
Press button < to turn sound off ( musical note disappears)
Press button < to turn sound on (musical note reappears)
Press button O to return to play mode.
Pause feature
Press button O tp enter timer mode
Press button > for at least 4 seconds to pause play (beating heart changes to pause symbol)
Press button > afain for at least 4 seconds to resume ( pause symbol changes to heating heart)
Press button O to go back to Play Mode.
Health
In order to take care of your ------ you must know what it needs.
To check it's health: Press button< or > to select the health icon on the screen.
Press button D to confirm your selection.
Scroll through the Health section using the <, > buttons.
You can check the following:
-Discipline
-Food
-Happiness
Always check the health when the alert icon lights up.
Feeding time
To feed your binary bundle of joy:
Press button < or > to select the feeding icon on the screen.
Press button D to confirm your selection.
Press button < or > to select between the foods.
Press button D to feed your pet.
(monitor the food intake and don't over feed. You should keep the food status at about 3/4 full.) Also, vary your feeding. Too much of one type of food is bad.
Cleaning time
When your pet makes a mess, you have to clean it up.
You also have to give it showers once in a while.
Press button < or > to select the cleaning icon on teh screen. Press the D button to confirm. Repeat as necessary.
Play time
Playing with your pet is also important. You need to make it happy to grow up healthy.
Press button < or > to select the game icon.
The game is to cancell out the icons. It takes a little while to learn but after a day, it will get much easier.
Sleep time.
Your Nano must get plenty of rest: so at night you should put your pet to bed.
To put your pet to bed:
Press < or > to select the sleep icon on the screen. Press D to confirm your choice.
Discipline
If your pet cries for no reason then you must use the discipline icon.
(be sure the check the health first!)
To teach your pet to behave,
Press < or > to select the discipline icon and D to cinfirm your choice.
Medicine
If your Nano gets sick you must give it medical attention right away.
(NOTE: If your Nano will not play or eat even thgough it is hungry, then your Nano is sick)
Press button < or > to select the medicine icon on teh screen
Press D to confirm your choice.
Exercise
In order to keep your Nano fit and healthy, you should make sure it gets plenty of exercise.
Press < or > to select the exercies icon on teh screen.
Press button D to confirm your choice.
Weather
If you see bad weather approaching or if it begins to thunder or rain outside, bring your pet in from the storm.
Press < or > on the screen to select the weather icon.
Press D to select.
Attention icon "!"
If this icon is lit, you need to check on your Nano.
