This is Silver Lake Park. A common place to visit in Rochester.
It's a place people go to have a picnics, often in their cars. Then of course, feed the geese.
This is part of the winter nesting grounds for the Branta canadensis maxima, (Giant Canada goose)
The flock numbers 30,000 - 35,000 geese during the peak of the migration. The geese here represent the world largest winter concentration of the Giant Canadian goose.
